whatta gift!

Was chatting w/my cuz Lito V. the other day. He was telling me that they had just gotten their Christmas gifts and bonuses from the company he worked for. Aside from their cash bonuses, everybody in their company got this for Christmas!

I wish one day I could have a company that'd be successful enough to give nice gifts like that to employees. Just a thought :)

sisters

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in my heart)
i am never without it (anywhere i go you go, my dear;
and whatever is done by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet)
i want no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;
which grows higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

e.e. cummings

That poem was from the movie "In Her Shoes" which I saw tonight. It was such a good movie. I laughed AND cried. The movie's about the love-hate relationship of two sisters. I should go watch it again with my sisters. Made me miss my sis Rina (who's in Toronto) all the more. See you in March, bean!

Aslan. 'And that is both honor enough to erect the
head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow
the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth.'"
